  2. who has continued to explore new musical
  3. sounds and compositional techniques since the
  4. 1950s. His major works include Gesang der
  5. Junglinge 1956 and Kontakte 1960 (electronic
  6. music); Klavierstucke 1952-85; Momente
  7. 1961-64, revised 1972, Mikrophonie I 1964,
  8. and Sirius 1977. Since 1977 all his works
  9. have been part of Licht, a cycle of seven
  10. musical ceremonies, intended for performance
  11. on the evenings of a week. He has completed
  12. Donnerstag 1980, Samstag 1984, and Montag
  13. 1988.
